We prefer to clip many shoes, particularly on the hind to avoid shoe movement, and burning clips on helps the shoe to stay in place and avoid shifting or twisting! - Hot fitting a shoe can save time and effort when fitting a shoe to the hoof than cold fitting, which takes long to shape a shoe! That keeps us moving more efficiently and effectively! There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to fitting a shoe hot or cold, and each has its time and place.
