⬇️At the end of a job interview, when they ask you, “Do you have any questions for us?” Whatever you do, do NOT ask them these 10 questions 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 Impressive Questions to Ask in any Job Interview 👈 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for How to Answer What are your Strengths and Weaknesses👈 10-  “What does this company do?” You should’ve gone on the company’s website and figured that our before your job interview. 9- “When can I expect a raise or a promotion?” A raise and a promotion are for people that excel at their job, and we haven’t even hired you so how do we know if you’re going to do so well that you deserve a promotion? Pump your brakes. 8-  “Are there any other jobs open?” Ummmmm we haven’t hired you for this one yet. How about focusing on getting this job before you start shopping for jobs in our company. 7- “Are you going to check my references and do a background check?” only people that have something to hide would ask this and now they are going to be suspicious of you. 6-  “Can I work from home?” You’re probably asking this because they’ve already told you that this is an in person job. If you really want a remote job, apply to a remote job instead of trying to make an in person job remote. 5- “When can I start taking my PTO/Vacation time?” Only unambitious people would ask this question in a job interview. They are going to think that you’re only in it for the benefits, that you’re not really dedicated and they won’t pass you on to the next round of interviews, let alone make you an offer. 4- “Do you care about the dress code?” Nah. We don’t care about the policies and procedures that we created, we’ve just been waiting for someone who doesn’t work here to challenge us on them. 3- “What’s the worst thing about working here?” There are better ways to figure this out in the interview process. I wouldn’t waste my opportunity to ask them great questions on this one because they are going to give you a fake answer anyways. Instead ask them about next steps in the interview process. 2- “Well if this interview doesn’t work out, you wanna get a drink?” DO NOT ask your interviewer out. This is a job interview NOT a date. 1-    “Hypothetically if I were fired from my last job would that make a difference?” Absolutely it will. Why would you disclose this information? If they don’t ask you, don’t tell them. 📌And BONUS TIP, the worst question to ask in a job interview is “Are there any reasons why you wouldn’t want to hire me?” I would rather leave the job interview on a positive note NOT a negative one.    #jobinterview #interviewquestions #howtointerview #job #corproate #interviewtips #interviewprep

⬇️Would you go to a job interview with your parent? Would you go to a job interview with your child? 📌20% of Gen Z job seekers are bringing their parents to their Job Interview. I blame the parents! ❌There is no reason you should ever bring your parent to a job interview. ❌There is no reason you should go to a job interview with your adult child. #howtointerviewforajob #interviewpreparation #genz #hiring #corporatejobs #howtointerview #greenscreen #parents #onthisday
⬇️90% of hiring managers are NEVER trained to interview.

🤝In America the majority of corporate job interviews conducted are social interviews. Which means they are basing their decisions on whether or not they like you and if you will be a good “culture fit”. Which is just code for “we don’t hire people who don’t fit in”

❌Hiring is not standardized, what works for one company doesn’t work at another.

❌Hiring is subjective, what one hiring managers likes, another doesn’t.

🎯The most important business decisions are made in job interviews, yet we don’t give hiring managers tools on how to understand their biases to therefore make better hiring decisions.

🫣When humans make selections, we rely on short cuts and trite stereotypes.

📌I am on a mission to teach hiring managers how to interview better by understating their interview style. To discover your interview style, get an Interviewology Profile a 40-page workbook that details your presences, what you need to work on and inappropriate questions to avoid.

⬇️ You are NOT confident if you do these 3 things in a job Interview

3️⃣ When you answer an interview question you do not need to ask them if that was the answer they were looking for. ✅ Occasionally you can check in but not after EVERY question.

2️⃣ If you don’t ask questions you don’t look easygoing you look unprepared and not confident. ✅ Great candidates ask questions in interviews 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 Impressive Questions to ask in any job interview👈

1️⃣ If you give really, really short interview answers because you’re worried about saying too much it will backfire. ✅ You need to learn how to open up, tell a story and put yourself out there. 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia to learn how to answer, tell us about yourself👈
