A heartwarming day out for some of our long timers. Life hasn’t always been kind to Cedric, Sophia, and Chakra, but today was a reminder of the love every dog deserves. These three special pups have been through so much, and we wanted to give them a break from the shelter to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine at the park. ♥️ 🐾 Cedric (2 years old) Cedric is a total sweetheart! While his past remains a mystery, we know he is a highly affectionate and playful dog who loves making new friends. Cedric is treat-motivated, knows “sit,” and loves to cuddle after he’s burned off some energy. Thanks to Florida Panthers’ #9 Sam Bennett and his Benny’s Buddies program, Cedric’s adoption fee is fully covered! 🐾 Sophia (2 years old) Sophia is the queen of zoomies and self-play! This playful, silly girl loves tossing her toys in the air, running, and then snuggling up when she’s ready to relax. Sophia gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats. She’s searching for an active, loving home. Thanks to @jrdunnjewelers, her adoption fee has already been covered! 🐾 Chakra (5 years old) Chakra has been patiently waiting since early November for her second chance at love. She’s a toy enthusiast who carefully selects her favorites and finds pure happiness in playtime. Chakra is housebroken, knows “sit,” and adores being petted. These incredible dogs are ready to share the unconditional love they so freely give. What these pups would really love is to be adopted in time to walk with you at the 35th Annual VCA Walk for the Animals! The Walk is taking place on Saturday, February 1st, at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park. 🏝️ All proceeds will benefit the homeless pets at the Humane Society of Broward County.
