Did we forget what marriage commitment means? Did we forget that NONE of us signed up for a passionless, unloving marriage? We all signed up for passion, romance, intimacy, and affection. We ALL did. Wives, of course, I am NOT talking to ANYONE in an abusive marriage. I’m speaking to the wives who have loving husbands who work hard, are loyal, and are kind. If you have that kind of husband, he deserves to be your priority! You both deserve a happy marriage. Women, our husbands become entirely different men when we prioritize intimacy with them and learn to truly enjoy it together! If you’re struggling with this, listen to our podcast PLEASE! We have SO many resources to help you enjoy intimacy! And if you feel like emotional intimacy needs to come first, we have tons of episodes on that too! Husbands, do you feel like you would step up emotional connection even more if you were feeling prioritized in your marriage? If she cared that you have needs too? Wives... not loving the physical aspect of being intimate? We created the app with experts to help with that! Not feeling emotionally connected? The app helps with that too! Feeling like you do everything and you are tired? Don’t get mad at him for not being able to read your mind! Talk to him and don’t get all worked up when he uses the word “help!” Too tired? Take some things off your plate! You husband needs to come first! If he is a good, loving man, put him first! His needs matter too! Agree? #Marriage #marriagetips #intimacytips #husbandsneedsmatter #marriagechallenge #marriagepodcast #relationshipadvice #loveandmarriage #marriagegoals #ultimateintimacy #marriageapp #marriagetips #intimatemarriage

Grab our FREE couples goal-setting resource to help you set some goals together with intimacy, communication, finances and more & it will help you discuss these topics! Link in bio 🙌 A thriving marriage doesn’t happen by accident; it’s built with intention, love, and mutual effort. Here is what each of these goals look like: 1. Take turns initiating intimate time AND planning dates. Fun dates. When both spouses put effort into creating fun, romantic, or adventurous experiences, it keeps the relationship exciting and balanced. This means each person initiates being intimate once a week, so two times minimum a week IF you want a passionate marriage 🙌 Alternating who takes the lead prevents either person from feeling burdened and shows that your marriage is a priority. Remember, date night doesn’t have to be out of the house—it’s about intention. Find 50 at-home date ideas in our bio link. 2. Never raise your voice at each other! Disagreements happen, but staying calm and respectful prevents conflict from eroding love and trust. This also sets a positive example for your kids by showing them how to handle disagreements with grace. You can be mad and still be gentle, it is a form of maturity. Great goal to work on. 3. Put your marriage before your kids. When kids see their parents connected, loving, and respectful, they grow up with a model of healthy relationships. Prioritizing your marriage teaches them the value of love and partnership. This is the best gift you can give your kids. 🎁 4. Get healthy together. Exercise, eat well, and support each other physically and mentally. It is part of marriage commitment to take care of yourself and stay attractive. 5. Live within your means. Financial stress impacts intimacy. Set money-saving goals together and cook at home more to save money while staying healthier. Get out of debt as fast as you can, this takes both people working together. 2025 is the perfect time to focus on these goals. By committing to these changes, you’ll strengthen your emotional and intimate connection and lay a foundation of love, security, and joy for your whole family. #Marriage #marriagetips #intimacytips #husbandsneedsmatter #marriagechallenge #relationshipadvice #loveandmarriage #marriagequotes #ultimateintimacy #marriagechallenges #relationshiptip #intimatemarriage #marriagegifts #marriageapp #relationshiptips #goals #marriagegoals #goals2025

Trust us, these four simple habits can completely transform the intimacy in your marriage—because we’ve seen it happen in ours. Start by making time for a real, passionate kiss every single day. Not a quick peck on the way out the door, but a kiss that says, “You’re still the one for me.” Pair that with intentional words of love—whether it’s an “I love you,” a heartfelt thank-you, or a compliment that makes your spouse feel seen and appreciated. Those words, spoken daily, can change everything. Keep the spark alive by making fun and laughter a regular part of your relationship. Marriage should never feel like a chore—so flirt, play, and find joy in the little things together. And perhaps most importantly, set aside intentional, distraction-free time every evening by putting your phones away. Show your spouse they’re more important than the endless scroll. Marriage takes effort, but just a little daily intention can speak volumes. These small actions are simple, but the message they send is powerful: “You are my top priority.” You’ll be amazed at how these changes deepen your connection, reignite your passion, and make your marriage feel unstoppable. Are you willing? Is your spouse? Your spouse is the one person on this planet who has committed to walking through life with you, through every joy and challenge. Yet, in the busyness of parenting, work, and daily routines, it’s easy to take that commitment for granted. Words, tone of voice, and actions matter more than we often realize. Treating your spouse better than anyone else, even your kids, doesn’t mean loving your children any less. It means recognizing the unique and foundational role your marriage plays in your family. Kids feel secure when they see their parents united and treating each other with kindness and respect. Prioritizing your spouse teaches your children what a healthy, loving relationship looks like. It’s making time to nurture your connection, speaking to your spouse with the same (or greater) patience and care you give your children, and remembering that your partnership is the anchor for your family’s well-being. Emotional intimacy is the foundation of a strong marriage. When your spouse feels respected and valued, trust deepens, and their heart feels safe with you. This emotional safety is what allows for vulnerability, both emotionally and sexually. On the flip side, if our words or actions make our spouse feel dismissed, criticized, or unimportant, walls begin to build. These walls don’t just block emotional closeness—they also impact sexual intimacy, which relies on feeling deeply connected and cared for. Check out the ultimate intimacy podcast on Apple Podcasts, Amazon and Spotify for episodes dedicated to taking about respect and love being an action word. Talking to couples where the husband is honest, a good loving and hard working man, yet his needs never seem to matter. He gives and gives and earns, yet his wife does NOT prioritize the sexual intimacy side of marriage. If you are a wife that thinks your husband can give and give and never receive, that isn’t marriage commitment. If you kissed him, and made out with him, and flirted with him when you were dating and first married, then one day decided, I don’t really love being intimate any more, I’m too “tired” etc, you are breaking your promises to marriage. You committed to love him and show him love. If you don’t like being intimate, ask yourself to look deeper and fix the problem so your husband doesn’t have to suffer not feeling loved. - Is there resentment you need to work out? - Is there past trauma you need to get professional help about? - Do you not enjoy sex physically and need to learn how to? - Are you literally too tired and need to take some things off your plate? What is causing you to not want to be intimate, or to not prioritize his desire to be intimate with you? While withholding intimacy can strain a marriage and may feel like a lack of commitment or loyalty to the other spouse, it’s essential to understand the underlying reasons and address them constructively. Both spouses should work together to rebuild their connection and resolve issues to maintain a healthy and fulfilling marriage. NO ONE signs up for a roommate, boring, non passionate marriage. NO ONE! ***Also, of course we are talking to couples in healthy loving marriages who love each other. Never talking to couples where the husband is abusive in any form. Or where the husband has cut off her emotional needs. That is NEVER ok as we talk about in almost every post. We are also talking to couples in marriages where the husband is the higher drive spouse. We understand this can be reversed absolutely. What are your thoughts? Is being unfaithful more than just physical and emotional cheating? We believe not loving and taking care of your spouses’ needs is a form of being unfaithful to your marriage commitment, vows and promises. #Marriage #marriagetips #intimacytips #husbandsneedsmatter #marriagechallenge #marriagepodcast #relationshipadvice #loveandmarriage #marriagequotes #ultimateintimacy #marriagegoals #happymarriage #relationshiptips

At year 12 of our marriage, we hit a wall. We loved each other, but it felt like something was missing. We were not connected. It wasn’t one big fight or one major crisis — it was a slow drift. We had put other things kids first. Our days revolved around schedules, chores, and responsibilities. We weren’t dating each other anymore. We weren’t talking about the hard things, and when we did, it felt like nothing changed. We both became complacent. And before we knew it, we felt more like roommates than spouses. We told ourselves this was just how marriage gets after a while. Life gets busy. Passion fades. But deep down, we knew we didn’t want just a functional marriage — we wanted a thriving one. We needed to make a change. A big one. We realized that marriage is like a plant — it needs constant watering and nurturing to grow. And without effort, it will wither. So, we started setting boundaries with our time — saying no to things that pulled us away from each other. We communicated better, sharing our needs and frustrations without fear of judgment. And most importantly, we both put in the effort. We started dating again, making time for connection, and prioritizing intimacy. The more we showed up for each other, the more we felt that spark again. We turned our marriage around — and you can too. It doesn’t take grand gestures, just small, consistent changes. Set boundaries to protect your time together. Communicate openly and often. And never stop putting in the effort. When both spouses choose to prioritize their marriage, love grows stronger, deeper, and more fulfilling than ever before. If you’re feeling that same drift, here are three questions to ask each other to start closing the gap and reconnecting: “What’s one thing I can do this week to make you feel more loved and appreciated?” “Is there anything we’ve been avoiding talking about that we need to address together?” “What small thing could we start doing daily to feel more connected as a couple?” Do you feel like roommates or passionate lovers in your marriage? 6. Disconnect from phones after kids are in bed so you can connect together. 7. Check in with each other every single day about your marriage relationship. 8. Celebrate your marriage milestones as a couple. 9. Take a yearly getaway as a couple. 10. Teach your kids that you agree on everything together as a couple and they cannot divide you. Putting your marriage first doesn’t mean neglecting your kids in any way, and has nothing to do with amount of time. 🔥 Let’s get real—keeping the spark alive in a relationship takes work, but it’s SO worth it. Here are 3 golden rules to stay wildly attracted to your partner: 1️⃣ Keep growing together: Stagnation kills attraction. Take time to learn, grow, and explore new things as a couple. Whether it’s a new hobby, a spicy getaway, or even a shared Netflix binge, keep that connection evolving. ✨ 2️⃣ Prioritize YOU: Sounds counterintuitive, right? But staying attracted to your partner starts with feeling confident and sexy in yourself. Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s a damn necessity. When you feel good, it radiates into your relationship. 💄💅 3️⃣ Keep flirting: Remember those butterflies from the beginning? Channel that energy! A cheeky text, playful teasing, or a random compliment can reignite the flames. Don’t stop dating each other just because you’ve been together for years. 😘 💬 Which of these are you going to try this week? Drop your thoughts in the comments, and if you’re ready to level up your relationship game, check out my Reclaim Your Libido download for more juicy tips! ✨ Because a spark isn’t something you find—it’s something you create. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from surveying thousands of married couples, it’s this: everyone wants sex to feel loving, connecting, and uniting. The kind of intimacy that isn’t just physical but emotional too. Husbands and wives alike want to feel seen, respected, and loved before intimacy — and that emotional connection is what makes sex feel truly meaningful in marriage. Here’s the truth: emotional intimacy needs to come FIRST. When a wife feels emotionally safe, loved, and valued, her desire for physical intimacy grows naturally. And when a husband feels truly connected, he experiences the depth of intimacy he craves too. It becomes more than just an act — it becomes "making love" in every sense of the word. For this kind of intimacy to happen, kindness, respect, loyalty, and love must be at the core of a marriage. Without those things, intimacy can feel like an obligation or something that’s done out of duty rather than desire. But when both spouses feel emotionally connected? That’s when sex transforms into something powerful, meaningful, and deeply uniting. Husbands want this too. The survey we conducted made it clear — men want their wives to feel loved and connected, because that’s when intimacy feels the most fulfilling for both of them. Husbands want intimacy that makes their marriage stronger, not just a quick physical release. They want their spouse to want them — not out of duty, but out of genuine connection. The key is understanding that emotional intimacy is the foundation. It’s not just a “nice bonus” — it’s essential for creating the type of sex life both spouses dream of. Love first, intimacy follows. That’s how marriages thrive. And when emotional intimacy is there, Sexual intimacy NEEDS to be prioritized in the marriage. This is what keeps a relationship passionate. There is nothing better than a husband who CARES. a husband who TRIES. A husband who loves God and that shows in the way he cares for his family. A man doesn’t need to be a perfect husband in any way, but if his wife and family can FEEL that he loves them, wants to take care of them, and provide for them in far more than just money... that is emotional intimacy. Emotional Intimacy is more about how you make someone FEEL rather than just what you do. While actions and behaviors certainly play a role in nurturing emotional intimacy, it’s the deeper connection and understanding that you cultivate with your spouse that truly fosters emotional intimacy. Emotional intimacy involves being vulnerable, empathetic, and supportive towards your spouse. It’s about creating a safe space where both of you feel comfortable expressing your true thoughts, feelings, and desires without fear of judgment or rejection. It’s about listening actively, validating emotions, and showing empathy towards your spouse’s experiences. Ultimately, emotional intimacy is about building a deep emotional bond based on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. It’s about making your spouse feel valued, appreciated, and loved for who they are, not just for what they do. This is what makes a husband (and a wife) so great. It starts with caring ❤️ Do you agree? 📱Don’t forget to download the ultimate intimacy app in the Apple and Amazon App stores for free to strengthen and spice up your marriage relationship!! Our marriage has NOT been easy. At least the first 12 years. If you listen to our podcast and know our story and how we got here... you know that we have had to learn the hard way in many things, like many of you. The biggest thing we can say out of all these things is that marriage really does need to come first. This Benefits EVERYONE in the house. When we are on the same page, with the kids, with finances, with household duties, with just everything and we are united and the sexual intimacy is amazing... the atmosphere in our home is completely different. When your intimacy is prioritized in marriage, it changes your marriage, which changes your love, and your actions, and it changes your home. Your kids feel the unity, they feel the love between their parents. This changes their entire life too. You might think that putting your marriage FIRST isn’t the best thing for your kids, but it is. When they become adults, they will thank you. Our oldest son who is almost 20 thanks us all the time for us having an amazing marriage. He watches his friends go through life with divorced parents, and the heartbreak they feel and he literally thanks us for keeping our marriage strong while we raised him. He thanks us for having weekly date nights, for leaving on vacations once in a while to keep our marriage strong. Marriage isn’t easy, it is hard. Really hard. There are so many days that you think you just can’t do it. And then you go to bed, wake up the next day and try harder... to find out that it is just a stage and the passion and romance CAN come back with effort. What have you learned in your marriage relationship? No matter how long you have been married ❤️ We hope you will listen to Ultimate Intimacy Podcast episode 242: What Putting Your Marriage First Before Your Kids Really Looks Like… To Keep The Intimacy Strong ❤️ Ultimateintimacy.com/podcast #Marriage #marriagetips #intimacytips #husbandsneedsmatter #marriagechallenge #marriagechallenges #relationshipadvice #marriagepodcast #ultimateintimacy #loveandmarriage #marriageapp #intimatemarriage #relationshiptip #relationshiptips #marriagequotes

The more we spend time talking to couples, the more we realize that we all actually need the same things! Our needs are remarkably similar because, at their core, we all seek love, respect, and connection in our relationships. Both spouses desire emotional intimacy, where they feel understood, valued, and appreciated. Additionally, both husbands AND wives benefit from physical intimacy, shared experiences, and collaborative efforts in managing life’s responsibilities. By recognizing and addressing these common needs, we can all create a balanced and harmonious partnership that nurtures both individuals needs and desires ❤️ Yes, we constantly talk about how one spouse typically needs more physical or sexual intimacy, and one needs more emotional connection, but they both go hand in hand, and it is typically because BOTH need that emotional connection through the sexual intimacy. We are actually alike! Do you agree? Do women need more or do husbands need more? What does this look like in your marriage? Do you feel like deep down our needs are actually the same?
