Why did it suddenly decide to boot after several failed attempts? Many repair technicians refer to this phenomenon as a shock method. Essentially, repeated power supply bursts can burn through a shorted capacitor, allowing it to stop grounding the circuit. While not every short can be resolved in this manner, sometimes it's enough to bring a device back from a seemingly critical state.
