How to make high collagen beef bone broth 🍜 For over a year I have been drinking bone broth for better digestion, skin and hair health. This new years I wanted to do a reset after taking break during the holidays for more indulgent foods. For even more nutrients, I like to add in a few scoops of @Isopure collagen! Here is how I make it.
#ad Ingredients: 1. 3 lbs beef bones 2. 1 lb chicken feet 3. Salt 4. 1 onion, diced 5. 2 carrots, diced 6. 2 celery ribs, diced 7. 2 bay leaves 8. 4 sprigs thyme 9. 3 scoops @isopure unflavored collagen peptides Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 450*F. Lay the bones on a sheet tray, sprinkle with salt and roast for 1 hour, or until golden brown. 2. Transfer the bones to a large pot, or slow cooker, along with the onion, carrot, celery, bay leaves and thyme. Cover with water, just enough so the bones are covered by one inch of water. Bring up to a low simmer stovetop and top with a lid. Simmer on low for 20 hours. If using a slow cooker simmer on low for 20 hours. 3. Strain the broth through a fine mesh strainer, discard the bones and vegetables. Add the collagen peptides and blend with an immersion blender until combines. Pour into storage containers and refrigerate or freeze. Check out the below link to get Isopure Collagen Peptides for this delicious recipe!
