These Italian turkey meatballs are a great weeknight dinner that use ground turkey making them a little healthier! They have lots of flavor and can be made gluten free & dairy free too! 😊✨🍝 Some tips: *I like to use a scoop when forming my meatballs, it really makes the process quicker & easier! *Stoves will vary but sometimes the meatballs on the outside of the pan need a little more time cooking and I will move them towards the middle at the end for a minute or two if needed *My favorite pan for cooking meatballs in the @Caraway Home saute pan! Ingredients: for meatballs: -1.5 lb ground turkey -1/2 c bread crumbs (I used @4C Foods gluten free bread crumbs) -1 egg -1/2 white onion finely chopped -4 cloves of minced garlic -1/4 cup of finely chopped parsley -1/4 c grated parmesan cheese (I used @Armored Fresh oat milk cheese for a dairy free option!) -1 tbsp olive oil -1/2 tsp red pepper flakes -salt & pepper to taste Optional ingredients: -Pasta sauce -Pasta (I used Felicia lentil pasta!) -Zucchini seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper & garlic powder -Parm cheese & parsley for garnish Steps: 1. Add all ingredients for the meatballs in a bowl and mix until everything is evenly combined 2. Form meatballs that are about 1.5-2" thick 3. In a pan preheated to medium heat, add olive oil and then carefully add the meatballs. Let cook for 5-6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes. 4. Bake zucchini on 425 for 15 minutes 5. Once meatballs are done cooking, lower heat to low and add sauce stirring meatballs until they are coated 6. Cook pasta according to packaging, drain and add desired sauce 7. Serve meatballs topped with sauce, parm cheese, and parsely to garnish Enjoy!
