⬇️ All the hotels I stayed at in Japan and more 🛏️🇯🇵 1. Oriental Kyoto Hotel Rokujo ⛩️ Located about a ten-minute bus ride from Kyoto Station, this hotel was small but offered all the basics that you would need out of any hotel, including self-service laundry machines! Prices range* anywhere between $70 to $200. 2. The Lively Osaka Honmachi 🏯 Just about a 2-minute walk to Sakaisuji Hommachi metro station, the is hotel was my favorite for both the vibes and aesthetics. With a rooftop bar, free beer and a live DJ everyday, bike rentals, and celebration services, this hotel has become my new favorite in Osaka. Price range*: $150 to $250 3. Section L Residence Ginza This particular location requires at least a one-month’s stay, but Section L boasts 10 properties around Tokyo for shorter periods less than a week. For prices, be sure to check their website as there’s a big difference between their short-term and monthly stays! *prices greatly depend on room type and season Honorable mentions for Osaka: • Candeo Hotel Osaka Namba & Candeo Hotel Shinsaibashi ♨️ Both hotels have a rooftop Skyspa, both of which are fairly tattoo-friendly (you must inform them about your tattoos though).
