People want to know how I recover so well after all of my surgeries or how I do so well having Ehlers Danlos, POTS/dysautonomia, neuropathy, etc. If I listened to all of the people who told me not to workout and just take it easy after my surgeries I wouldn’t be where I am. If I listened to the doctors who told me not to lift weights with my health conditions I wouldn’t be where I am. I crutch to the f-ing gym and to the cold plunge and sauna and it’s embarrassing but I do it. I have to ask for help. People look at me funny. Yes it is really hard. Yes I am in pain. But my upper body is the strongest it’s ever been even after 6 surgeries and I continue to push in hopes of regaining my lower body as well. My health wavers but I am doing well and I make sure to rest and recover as well. I do my PT exercises and I see the chiro and massage therapist.
