My parents warned me this path would be wrought with hard work and disappointment. But what they, or I, didn’t know was how unfathomably colorful, surprising, and rewarding it could be. Once I finally made the decision to ENJOY the journey and loosen my grip on how I defined “success”, I found true happiness—and success. 2024 highlights: - living alone, financially independent and emotionally secure - surpassing 100k Spotify monthly listeners - 10k IG followers - the best, (most expensive), and most spiritually rewarding music video I’ve made to date - collaborating with some extraordinary people in music and film - winning best music video at Austin Spotlight Film Fest (again!) - randomly being on the news, and then not randomly performing on the news - loving and appreciating myself from the inside out - reuniting with my little sis - healing heartache and loving deeper than ever before - going to burning man 🔥 - learning the word “surreptitiously” - releasing my first album - getting my first instrument endorsements (@Lanikai Ukuleles + @Breedlove Guitars) - making my first online merch orders - laughing more than I cried …and much, much more that could never be condensed into a single post.
