#LegendsBaseball celebrates the passion and nostalgia of America’s favorite pastime, showcasing talented players, epic moments, and fan enthusiasm while connecting a vibrant community through shared love for baseball.
We believe every kid deserves access to great coaching—not just the early bloomers. Baseball is the greatest sport in the world, and it should be accessible to kids of all skill levels. While we understand that resources like fields and coaches are often limited, whenever possible, we should create opportunities for kids who might get cut elsewhere. By focusing only on the top players, we risk denying many kids the chance to discover their true potential. Some kids simply need a little more time, patience, and guidance. They may not have someone at home to play catch with, but that doesn’t mean they don’t belong on the field. There’s nothing more fulfilling than taking a kid who isn’t that great at baseball—or maybe isn’t even that interested at first—and turning him into a stud! Its simple. Kids enjoy hitting the ball high in the air. We all do. So if the goal is to get the kids to sign up again, we want to design an experience which promotes the most fulfilling reward in the game: HOME RUNS. Youth basketball allows kids to hit 3 pointers starting at 8-9. Flag Footballers can score TD’s. But youth baseball players across the country cant experience the best part of the sport until they are 11/12, if they are lucky. And no, an inside the park homerun does not have the same emotional response as an outside the park bomb! This should be something we embed in all youth baseball starting at the age of 8. When we adjust the base dimensions we should adjust the home run fences to scale. I know many dont agree but I’ve seen the positive impact of this playout through thousands of hours of youth baseball programs for almost 15 years. #baseball #littleleague #legendsbaseball #MLB #speedball #littleleaguebaseball #fun #baseballseason
