Some holes require different techniques. This particular hole i wasn’t able to access from down stream, so I euro jigged a Daniel’s polar jig from above and that did the trick. There is a technique in presentation, this video explains my technique. I’m using a 10’ 3wt LRS. This clearly was caught upstream. Who knows what could have caused this. Maybe dragged up on the bank to land it. Treble hook ripped out of its mouth. And kicked back in. Or could have been as simple a improper release. Regardless, these things happen.
