INSTA TAGLINE When it comes to your health it’s like a jigsaw puzzle!! There’s so many pieces that make up the bigger picture!  Just like when it comes to balancing your Cortisol, stress hormones & symptoms of perimenopause there’s a few steps to take. 👇🏼 ✅Eating a healthy protein, rich and healthy fats diet( make it a lifestyle not a diet) ✅Light and moderate exercise, walking and strength training ✅Getting in the sun every morning for at least 7 to 10 minutes   ✅Getting at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night ✅Meditation or sitting in silence ✅Journaling and reading ✅No phones, electronics 30 mins before bed ✅Prioritizing gut health ✅Taking natural supplements I was doing all of these things except taking natural  supplements. Eating too few calories & not enough protein,- when you don't have enough protein and calories, your body will go into starvation mode, halting your metabolism! And you should be eating at least 100 g of protein a day   3. Going to bed at midnight or just too late period!! Our bodies won't heal if you aren't sleeping enough hours! Cortisol also helps coordinate your sleep cycles! 4. Not drinking enough water 💦 ‼️- This will allow your body to remove the cortisol and return to a healthy balance. Increasing your water consumption is vital to cortisol health, drink at least half your body weight of water and ounces. For example, if you weigh 180, you should drink 90 ounces of water  5. Skipping Vitamins and supplements- your body is in a state of emergency. The correct supplements can aid your gut and heal your body!
