It’s maple syrup season! I’m hoping we can double the amount of syrup we got last year, which would be two gallons. This would mean we need to boil down 80 gallons of sap. Fist day collecting sap! A good portion of the sap was frozen, and it didn’t get very warm today, so we’re off to a slow start. The next few days should really pick up though and I still have to tap the last three trees. #foraging #mapelsyrup #homestead
