Real Madrid just lost to La Liga's worst team, and reacted with arguably the biggest crash out in football history. Here's what happened: 28th minute: Vinicius Jr. has a goal disallowed. Madrid claims bias but Mbappe clearly shoves the defenders face, with both commentators agreeing it was a foul. 60th minute: A cynical challenge on Mbappe results in a yellow card, with RM convinced it was a certain sending-off. 85th minute: That same player scores the game-winning goal, sending Madrid to the gulags. After the match, the published a 4-page later calling out La Liga referee's for "blatant bias" against them, calling it a global scandal. Well, I watched the entire match as a neutral fan, and came away with a different conclusion. This team simply isn't all that. 21 total shots and only 7 on target--with Rodrigo's effort being the only one to even challenge Espanyol's goalkeeper. Couple that with poor passing and tactics, as well as Ancelotti refusing to make a single change until the 80th-minute, and the loss begins to make sense. My takeaway? Real Madrid wasn't robbed, they're just extremely arrogant. What do you guys think?
