cream cheese swirl brownies brownie mix: - 1 1/4 cups sugar - 3/4 cup all purpose flour - 2/3 cup cocoa powder, sifted if lumpy - 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted if lumpy - 1/2 cup chocolate chips - 3/4 teaspoons salt - 2 eggs - 1/2 cup any neutral oil or olive oil - 2 tablespoons water - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract cream cheese swirl - 8 oz cream cheese - 1/4 cup sugar - 1 egg yolk - Splash of vanilla Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Lightly spray an 8x8 pan with Pam. Or line with parchment paper. 2. In a bowl mix the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt. 3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, water, and vanilla. 4. Fold in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips into the wet ingredients and fold until just combined. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth around. 6. For the filling combine all the ingredients and mix until smooth. 7. Dollop the cream cheese mix onto the brownies. I usually have a bit leftover, but you can use all of it. Use a butter knife to swirl it in. 8. Bake for 35-40 minutes , or until a toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs. 9. Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting.
