I love creating little traditions with my kids, and our at-home Happy Meals have become a favorite! 💕 For Valentine’s Day, I went all out with heart-shaped nuggets, fries, apple slices, apple juice, a fun toy, and a cake pop. They get so excited every time we do this, and I love coming up with new themes for every holiday and season. I have everything in my storefront!🎀❤️ #valentinesdaytraditions #ValentinesDay #momof4 #mommagic #seasonalfun #momlifehacks

THINGS I DID IN MY POSTPARTUM THAT ACTUALLY WORKED (and the one thing I kept doing that totally didn’t) I let myself accept help. No, not just the “let me know if you need anything” type of help. I straight-up told people exactly what I needed—like holding the baby while I showered, folding my mountain of laundry, or delivering tacos to my door. People want to help, but they don’t know how unless you tell them. I prioritized nutrition over convenience. Listen, I get it—grabbing chips and coffee is way easier when you’re drowning in spit-up and sleep deprivation. But fueling myself with real, nutrient-packed meals (shoutout to Mama Meals!) made such a huge difference in my energy and healing. And you can save on them too—use my discount code VIBRANT at checkout! Want to try them? Click the link in my bio to check them out. I made a flexible routine, not a strict schedule. Instead of stressing over wake windows or timing naps perfectly, I focused on patterns—eat, play, sleep-ish. Babies are wildcards, and trying to control every second just made me feel more anxious. I let the house stay messy. Dishes in the sink, toys everywhere—it’s all part of this season. Instead of wearing myself out trying to keep it Pinterest-perfect, I focused on the important stuff—like connecting with my baby and sneaking in rest. I said YES to babywearing. I wore my baby pretty much all day (I’m convinced I could’ve done an obstacle course with her strapped to me). It kept her calm, gave me free hands, and gave me the closeness I needed to feel grounded. I prioritized postpartum supplements that kept me feeling human. The Magic Magnesium Power Pair is my go-to for mental health and energy. I also love Greens from Boobies (use code VIBRANT for a discount!) and my favorite protein shake from Prestige Labs. These made a huge difference in how I felt physically and mentally during recovery. You can find the links for all of these in my bio. …and the one thing I kept doing that didn’t help? Scrolling Instagram late at night. Oh, the doom scrolling. Seeing moms with their perfect postpartum glow, spotless houses, and jeans on at 3 weeks postpartum (HOW?) didn’t inspire me—it just made me feel worse. I finally started setting my phone down and focusing on what my postpartum looked like. Want the links to all my postpartum wellness must-haves? Every morning, I wake up knowing exactly what my family will eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No stress. No decision fatigue. Just simple, intentional meal planning. 🌿 ✨ Here’s one of my favorite tips from my Seasonal Meal Planning System: When creating your seasonal meal plan, try the biweekly meal slot strategy! Instead of repeating the same dish every week, alternate with a meal that uses similar ingredients. Example: Sunday Dinner: Chili // Taco Rice Skillet This method gives your menu variety and keeps it budget-friendly without adding a ton of extra ingredients to your grocery list! When you're to learn how to use the other methods to make meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal prepping easy year round ⬇️ Download The Guide to Seasonal Meal Planning to learn my system and join my email community for weekly meal planning tips! #seasonalmealplanning #easymealplanning #familymeals #homemakingtips #momlifehacks #mealplanningmadeeasy #intentionalliving #organizedlife #homemaker #homemakertiktok #homemaking #homemakerlifestyle #mealplanning

Save your recipe here 🌨️⛄️ ❄️ Welcome to Taste Safe Tuesday! I’m Akilina, a pediatric OT and mom, and I’ve been sharing sensory play ideas to inspire hours of fun for little ones. Today, we’re making taste-safe snow that’s crumbly, bright white, moldable, and oh-so-fun to play with! Recipe for 1 Cup of Baking Soda Snow: •	1 cup baking soda •	Slowly add water by the teaspoon, mixing as you go, until the snow becomes crumbly but moldable. (Tip: Be cautious—too much water can make it slushy. Add just a bit at a time!) Optional: Refrigerate your snow before play to make it feel cool and realistic, just like the real thing! ✨ Play Ideas: •	Build a mini snowman using simple accessories: dried beans for eyes, mini twigs for arms, and an acorn for a hat. •	Add trucks to “clear the snow” and set up a mini winter construction site. •	Create snowballs and practice hand-strengthening by molding, smashing, and rolling! Storage Tips: Keep your snow in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If it starts to dry out, revive it with a small sprinkle of water. Follow along for more sensory activities, child development tips, and product recs that make life with kids easier (and way more fun). #TasteSafePlay #activitiesforkids #finemotorskills #sensoryplay #SensoryPlayIdeas #MomLifeHacks #IndependentPlay #PediatricOT #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment #SnowDayFun #HandsOnLearning #ridesafetuesday

No one warns you how easy it is to feel like strangers while raising the family you built together. This season is hard. It’s survival mode, where love shows up in the quiet moments: lullabies in the dark, folding laundry at midnight, crying in the shower so no one else sees. But don’t forget—it all started with us. One day, the chaos will fade, and the house will feel unbearably still. But we’ll carry these moments—the messy, beautiful, unseen ones that built our family. ✨ Take care of yourself during this season. The pregnancy and postpartum wellness supplements and tools linked in my bio are here to support you.
