Today, all three 7s aligned - Sheva שבע (my mother a”h), Sheva (my daughter) and the 7th day of Chanukah. In Judaism, 7 is a significant number because it corresponds with the 7th and holiest day of the week, Shabbos. As Jews, we look forward to, and observe, the Sabbath every week, constantly reminding ourselves that G-d is always with us and is the One in control. He gives us life, and He takes it away. He doesn’t give us challenges we cannot face, even if we don’t see that ourselves. I’m grateful to be given the opportunity to try and be the mother that I didn’t have to my own children. Although I’m sure the teenage years will have me questioning my sanity. But again, G-d’s challenges…🫣. Thanks for listening to my little trauma dump turned Torah. May it be a year where we are all comforted by seeing Hashem’s direct hand in our lives. 🙏🏻
