Steal my Christmas markets itinerary! ⤵️ ✈️ Charlotte to Munich: Flying directly from Charlotte made getting there a breeze. We flew with @americanair but @lufthansa also has nonstop options. 🌟 Munich: A quick 1-night stop to explore Marienplatz, soak in the festive vibes, and enjoy Bavarian beer hall classics. We joined a small group walking tour through @getyourguide, and it was such a great experience.
🌟 Innsbruck: 2 nights of alpine magic, complete with twinkling lights and the iconic Swarovski Crystal Tree. Don’t miss the Nordkette Cable Car for stunning views!
🌟 Salzburg: 3 nights in Mozart’s hometown, where the Old Town markets and a day trip to Berchtesgaden (located in Germany but just a 50-minute bus ride from Salzburg) completely stole our hearts.
🌟 Vienna: 3 nights of next-level markets, stunning decorations, and even a day trip to Bratislava. ✈️ Vienna to Charlotte: After 9 nights of Christmas market magic, we flew home from Vienna! It was both of our first times flying business class. We snagged the seats with points for an amazing deal, and it was so fun! I fear I’ll be back in economy on my next flight though lol. 😂 As far as getting around, we traveled by train between cities! The scenic views and flexibility to book on the spot made traveling by train the perfect option for this trip. What else do you want to know about Christmas markets in Europe?
