Bringing your dog to Grand Teton National Park? Here is what you need to know. ✅ Dogs can go anywhere a car can go so the scenic drive & its many overlooks is a great option! They must stay within 30 feet of any roadway. 🐾 They can walk the paved path from the Visitor’s Center near Jenny Lake but can’t continue on after the pavement ends to the lake. 🏔️ Even with the hiking limitations we highly recommend the scenic drive and stoping for photo ops along the way. 🚫 Dogs are not allowed on ANY hiking trails. 🏫 We loved the town of Jackson and found many great dog friendly patios! #7 - Top 10 2024 Adventures! 📍Redwoods National Park Ok so the debate in our house is Redwoods NP or Sequoia… We chose Redwoods solely because there are more dog friendly options! Redwood forests are taller but the Sequoia trees are wider if you are not familiar with either one. Both are insanely beautiful parks/forests and photos and videos really don’t do either one justice. One thing to know, this National Park is a bit different in that it is really made up of many different state and national park areas all up and down Highway 101. There is no typical entry location or national park pass needed! Most of this video is from Howell Road which is out recommended drive! You can park on pull offs and walk dogs on along the road but dogs aren’t allowed on the trails (like with most NPs).
