After 18 years on Newbury Street, I’m thrilled/relieved/pumped to announce the last day my Johnny Cupcakes Boston shop will be open is 6 days from now, on Sunday January 19th 2025! I will be there all day on that date if you want to visit to say goodbye and to wish me well on my next exciting chapter! We are open daily until then — & on January 19th we will be open normal hours. Come through and pull a T-shirt out of my smoking ovens! In case you missed my pinned IG post—between losing my mom and my shop being burglarized—this past year brought me clarity I’m thankful for. I’m letting go of one thing (my shop) to make larger space for more important things: family, hobbies, finishing writing my book, launching a creative agency, and leveling up my speaking engagements and corporate gifting custom collaboration merch program! We will still have online releases just not as often as before—we’ll soon concentrate on quality over quantity. I will also be bringing it back to basics by planning some in-person pop-up shop tour stops (announcements coming soon!) A tapestry of delightful things moving at my own pace as to allow myself space to grieve, breathe, and be present — all while never losing that sense of wonderment. With Appreciation, Relief, & Lightness, —Johnny X[} 👉PS: Add yourself to my newsletter in my profile link to be up to date with new projects and pop-ups and turn post notifications on. 👉👉PPS: Know any New England based bakeries or food businesses looking for dry curved glass display cases and Continental 3-door refrigerators?
