Of course this would happen… It took me about 3 years to lose almost 100lbs. I started off slowly by walking during my lunch break (took almost an hour to walk a mile), which turned into running (was running a 5k in 30 minutes by the end). After about 6 months of walking, I started just slowly cutting my food portions when I ate but never cut out anything. One day I was running & the next day my entire body hurt, like I had fallen down a set of stairs & my leg started swelling. Went to the dr. & within a cpl months I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Pleomorphic Liposarcoma. 5 months later I had a 3 day long (over 55 hrs) surgery (with 5-6 suregons) to remove the tumor. My leg/hip was fully amputated (along w/part of my spine & pelvis), called an external hemipelvectomy a couple months later. Then about 8 months after that, I lost the sight in one of my eyes & a few months after that, had a nephrostomy tube put in.
