"I NEVER thought I’d get to make this post: I applied to one school last year, interviewed, and was rejected. This year applied to four and was accepted at every single one!! Stats: -Overall GPA 3.25; Science GPA 3.12; BSN GPA 3.61 -CCRN, TCRN certifications. -I was a staff nurse for 3 years in a neuro/trauma ICU and level II ED and have been traveling at level 1 facilities for 3 years. -Precepted and sat on councils. For my fellow lower GPA friends, it’s possible! I did not take any grad classes, and my OChem & Physics were done online. I spoke about my lower GPA in all of my interviews, and changed the narrative to highlight every other qualification I have that makes me a good candidate and will make me a better SRNA. I’m so grateful to Jenny and this amazing community she has created. I watched all of the patho & pharm videos and almost every one about interviews, including the mocks. I also utilized TeachRN for both personal statement critique and mock interviews. I wish the best of luck to you all!" -Rachel, Nurse Anesthesia Resident & CSPA Student 🎉 Big congratulations to Rachel on her CRNA school acceptance! 🎉 Your hard work, dedication, and passion for nursing have truly paid off!
