Thesa, leveraging the standing of her family's name, sought him out and with the skills Pocket taught her in their decade long friendship, snuck to the gallows to see him and aid him if she could, but it was for naught.. His legs had been bound in irons, his hands nailed together, signs of defensive wounds shown that Pocket tried to escape. Thesa tried to share one moment with her friend, but they couldn't risk a moment longer, lest she share the noose with him. In a quick breath Pocket whispered to her coordinates in the town and a phrase "the lark by day" and without anymore words she understood that she would have to take that voyage for the both of them. Pocket had trusted Thesa not just with his ship, and crew, but both their dreams to a life of freedom and fortune. Her foots footsteps bade her old friend farewell one last time. After leaving Pocket behind she walked to his ship brokenhearted. As she was walking she felt a presence near her and knew something was about to happen. Out of the shadows of the rising sun. A dozen figures came forth. Swords and knifes drawn in her direction. What seems to be the head dirtbag saunter towards her with the most vicious grin. “Well, well isn’t it Pocket little pet.” This outraged her. She was no one’s pet. She was Pocket friend and partner. “You must be mistaken cause I am no one’s pet. I was his friend.” With a menising laugh the man said. “Well since you were his friend you have the information I need. Since I couldn’t get the information from the constable. You’ll have to do.” At that moment she knew who turned Pocket in and framed him. This monster is to blame for this. So she draws out her knife ready to fight but not before she called out to her crew for assistance. This man is going to pay for what he’s done if it’s the last thing she does. She no longer consider her self a merchants daughter but a pirate. So today no one will look at her as some weak fragile girl. But a strong women who will right the wrongs that have been done. “You will pay for Pocket death!” In the background her men and his fought until it was only her crew standing and this murder. She decided she had a better punishment for him then her blade.
