This is only part of the aftermath of the pacific palisades fire. This street was home to my aunt and uncles. A place I grew up visiting and thinking it was so magical. After college graduation my husband and I moved back to LA and as a result we spent every Friday night unwinding from a long week at their place. Those dinners were always filled with love, laughter, amazing company, and yummy food. The garden they spent decades cultivating was a place of tranquility after a long week of work. It was truly heaven on earth. The one place in LA that brought me total peace. Now, it’s nothing but ashes and ruble. While I am beyond grateful my family and friends are safe, I am absolutely gutted and heartbroken for the community of the Pacific Palisades and Los Angeles as a whole. These fires are unprecedented and after living through many fire seasons I can say, I’ve never seen anything like this before. Please send prayers to all those affected by this disaster. It’s going to take a long time to rebuild but I know the community will come back strong ❤️ stay safe out there #pacificpalisades #palisadesvillage #palisadesfire #pacificpalisadesfire #losangeles #losangelesfire
I am feeling emotional, this is so devastating. Still unsure if the village has been destroyed or not but the fire just keeps getting worse.. Opening up the palisades store and meeting so many families that became our regulars and to know they've lost their homes is heartbreaking. I can not even process it. So incredibly devastating. The memories in that store and town. #pacificpalisades #californiawwildfire #palisadesvillage #losangeles #fire #california
These memories feel so distant now. We can come together to support those affected — check my last post for ways to help. Every little bit makes a difference. #californiawildfires #palisadesfire #pacificpalisades #palisadesvillage

We had so much fun!!! Bay Theater is so accessible! They brought our popcorn and closed captioning machine right to our seats and the staff even signed a little, the seats recline/adjust, the theater was very close to the lobby and there are little tables at every seat! This is SUPER helpful for me as a wheelchair user because carrying popcorn/drinks plus a caption machine when I rely on my hands to move and communicate can be impossible. This was my first time visiting Palisades Village too, it is so beautiful! The tree was amazing! Happy Holidays everyone! 🎄 #PalisadesVillage #BayTheater #ThePolarExpress #LosAngeles *Not Sponsored ID: Wonder and Edde, 2 androgynous people visit Bay Theater to see The Polar Express. Wonder has light skin and short dark hair, is wearing black pj's with a black robe, and a black transparent mask. They are a wheelchair user. Edde has light skin and a brown and blonde mullet. They wear yellow pj's with a pink robe and a pink transparent mask. We see Wonder and Edde sitting in the theater with a bowl of popcorn and a caption machine. After the movie they explore Palisades Village and take photos with the Christmas tree. The village has warm fairy lights all over the many trees.
