🤍Day 8 of the 12 Days of Presence Challenge! Your presence is the greatest present you can give your child. For today’s challenge, we’re making it 100% about them—because when we let our kids lead, we’re not just spending time with them, we’re showing them that their ideas and preferences matter. Letting your child or teen take the lead creates space for connection on their terms. It’s a way of saying, ‘I value you, I hear you, and I want to spend time doing what matters to you.’ These moments, no matter how small, remind them that they’re seen, loved, and deeply valued. 🤍Today’s Tip: Let Your Child Lead Spend 12 minutes letting your child choose the activity. • For younger kids, it might be playing pretend, coloring, or showing you their toys. • For older kids, it could be a favorite game, activity, or just chatting about something they love. • For teens, it might be watching a short clip they like, listening to their favorite song, or talking about what’s important to them. The goal isn’t about what you do—it’s about following their lead and giving them your full attention. If you haven’t started the challenge yet, today is the perfect day to jump in. It’s easy, fun, and completely child-led. To everyone who’s been joining daily, I love hearing about your moments of connection—let’s keep it going! 🫶🤍
