Introducing Mac: The Man Who Changed My Life and Taught Me How to Decode Faces Part 1 This is Mac Fulfer. He was an attorney who learned it for jury consulting. He ended up realizing it has such a practical aspect that he ended up leaving his law profession and teaching this all around the world. And I was lucky enough to meet him. Ironically I met him by fluke circumstance. Backstory: A friend came in from out of town. She said hey let's go to dinner. I show up at the restaurant and order a drink and then She calls to say she's going to no show. So I get a little bit upset. She was relentless telling me I had to come to this trade show. She told me I HAD TO COME MEET THIS GUY!!! When I asked why do I need to meet this guy? She told me excitedly that it was “BECAUSE HE READS FACES!!!” I told her I wasn’t coming for that BS. My bookshelf is full of books on: * Body language  * Statement analysis  * Networking  * You name it I've never heard of this so IT CAN’T BE REAL! She finally convinced me to go over there but I went with a GRUDGE! I thought “I’m GONNA BLOW HOLES IN THIS GUY” He's gonna say generic horoscope things like “oh you've had a hard time in life” you name it. And instead he ended up sitting us all down at dinner and he went person by person decoding their faces. The saying for this feature is “Rounded Eyebrow people think about the people AROUND them first” Meaning they think about the people around them FIRST and themselves SECOND. So if you make it about them You're going to lose them. You want to talk about their: * customers * co-workers * friends * family the people in their life Their sphere of influence is who they consider first when taking in information. Am I a wizard…..Nope   3. Can I predict the future…..Nope All those are pretty much a HARD NO So as you can see from the pictures here those are the questions get asked. But yes it's crazy when you learn these things what people think you know about them But all you're really looking at is each of their facial features and figuring out “How do I speak to that person?” I know what you're thinking same thing I was probably thinking What's it based on? It's based on something known as physiognomy. Now physiognomy has been around since the Greeks. The first known book on it was by Aristotle. It's a study of the 43 muscles in the face And how the mind creates movement and movement creates muscle. So as we THINK about things what happens is we MAKE FACES.
