Replying to @Jdgri14 I’m in burnout, but wanted to something out there! Check out my “PMDD Supplements” tab for more! 💜 These are just a few supplements that support mental health, oxidative stress, histamine intolerance, inflammation, and more - all things that contribute to worsened PMDD! Remember, not one thing is going to “fix” PMDD, but its about noticing every little change. 🙌🏻✨ And if you find something that works for you, then you can start targeting the mechanisms that are contributing to your PMDD! (i.e. if antihistamines help, then a low histamine diet and addressing that side of things could bring even more relief!) 💜💜💜 Always discuss with a doctor before starting supplements, as they can interact with other drugs or cause adverse effects. Always take it one at a time and take it slow, listening to your body. I recommend keeping a journal! 💜 #pmdd #premenstrualdysphoricdisorder #pmddawareness #pmddsupport #pmddstruggles #pmddcommunity #pmddsymptom #pmddtreatment #pmsproblems #womenshealth #afabhealth
Replying to @user6214761425372 TLDR: I’m 6 months post-op for surgery for PMDD. I’m currently in full blown menopause, and still feeling freaking GREAT. 🙌🏻✨😎💜 I couldn’t be happier that I did this surgery. Everyone told me menopause would be worse, but here I am, in the thick of it, and it’s nothing like the hell I lived before! Nothing was worse than being a prisoner to my own mind, tortured for weeks every month, unable to grasp who I truly am. Since the surgery, I’ve gone through so much and accomplished so much that would’ve affected me for weeks/months. If anything, I’m more held back physically, but that’s nothing compared to my mental health being destroyed, while my husband and children suffer without their true wife/mom. 😔💜 #pmdd #pmddawareness #pmddsupport #pmddstruggles #pmddcommunity #pmddsymptom #pmddtreatment #womenshealth #afabhealth #pmsproblems #menopause
Replying to @sapphic synapse ❗️YOU KNOW YOUR OWN BODY❗️ If you have PMDD, it isnt ucommon to experience perimenopause symptoms much earlier than the “typical age,” and it is SO MUCH WORSE for us. When I started with these symptoms and realized I would not be believed or properly guided ON TOP OF already fighting for proper treatment/attention for PMDD for decades… this is when it became emergent for me to remove my ovaries. I knew I would not make it. 💜 #pmdd #pmddawareness #pmddstruggles #pmddsupport #pmddsymptom #premenstrualdysphoricdisorder #pmsproblems #womenshealth #afabhealth #perimenopause #menopause #adhdinwomen #afabadhd
Replying to @🔮MysticTee | PMDD🔮 Dr “knows everything about PMDD” but then goes on to say because I don’t have ovaries, I won’t experience PMDD ever again, even through HRT. (Which FYI is incredibly wrong) 🙄 OH, and she didn’t believe my hand pain was menopause-related. I CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP. 😮‍💨 We are our only hope, ladies & AFAB friends. We need to stick together, lean on each other, and help each other if we ever want to feel good on this misogynistic, toxic, life-sucking planet! 😤👊🏻💜✨ #pmdd #premenstrualdysphoricdisorder #pmddawareness #pmddstruggles #pmddsupport #pmddtreatment #pmddsymptom #pmddwarrior #pmsproblems #menopause #surgicalmenopause
