Actually gaining too much weight can lead to many health complications for a pregnant mama and her baby in utero. It also makes you more fatigued + more challenges during pregnancy & postpartum. Of course weight gain is normal and necessary, but you don’t want to gain too much EXCESS WEIGHT. If you are that “MOST LIKELY” means you are not being active, you are making unhealthy food choices, maybe eating out a lot, giving in to a lot of cravings, eating a lot of sweets and processed foods and just not moving as much as you should. Caring what you look like is even better when pregnant than when not because everything you do and don’t do right now while pregnant affects your pregnancy and your baby. So, really, there isn’t a better time to practice SELF CARE than while pregant. So, why not use this time to eat super healthy, exercise, drink more water, rest and really take care of your body and health. You can of course gain weight, and you should, but if you are eating healthy and staying active you wont gain a ton of weight and you will look and feel SOOO MUCH BETTER. So… don’t listen to the people saying… pregnancy isn’t a time to workout and eat healthy. IT IS THE BEST TIME. Think about it as your using this time to create the best environment in your body for your baby to grow and flourish. So you are gonna eat extra healthy and workout consistently. I’m happy to help!
