How Much of Amazon’s Stock Is FAKE? 😳 Counterfeit products are everywhere—from Amazon to sites like Alibaba and Temu—and the risks go way beyond bad quality. 💡 Chaz and Sarah dive into counterfeit goods, especially skincare and vitamins, and why those “too good to be true” prices could be hiding serious risks. Do you know what you’re really buying? Watch to find out why it’s worth thinking twice. #CounterfeitProducts #ConsumerAwareness #LawHaveMercy #ChazRobertsLaw #IntellectualProperty #ProductSafety #ProtectYourself
Who is actually selling you that toy on Amazon? Here is how to check. #amazon #cpsia #cpsc #compliance #productsafety #greenscreen #fyp #toys #dangeroustoys #safety #momtok #toycars #lead #cadmium #chokinghazard #dodgygoods
Replying to @DanielleFruia longer explanation about product safety and discount stores 🙂 #amazon #productsafety #counterfeit #fyp #compliance #cpsia #momtok #discountstores #bargains #tjmaxx #marshalls #ross #beallsoutlet
Replying to @luz flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear are complicated! Target’s pajamas comply with regulations, the “keep away from fire” labeling is probably mostly a CYA type of label. Pajamas aren’t fire proof, the regulations keep them from immediately bursting into flames if a spark hits them. Pajamas from third party sellers on Amazon often do not comply with these regulations, we see recalls fairly often. #target #amazon #flammability #sleepwear #pajamas #cpsia #compliance #productsafety
Although this toy was recalled in the UK for being a choking hazard, nearly identical toys are still being sold on Amazon in the US today. Does that mean they are safe? Probably not. These are all being sold by sellers based outside of the US and are bypassing the US product compliance, despite being sold on a US website. Product reviews for several of these mention incidents of choking. Always report safety issues you experience to saferproducts.gov #greenscreen #amazon #toys #momtok #choking #chokinghazard #lead #cadmium #phthalates #cpsia #productsafety #thirdpartysellers #amazonsafety #parenting #babytoys
Replying to @ap name brands from US companies on Amazon tend to be safe but you need to double check who the seller is, it can be tricky. #amazon #productsafety #counterfeit #amazonsellers #fyp #namebrands
Replying to @Ashley there are new regulations for kids play makeup that went into effect (or should have) about a year ago. Cheap adult makeup is not necessarily any safer than a kids play makeup, they are both problematic. Hopefully the new regulations will help this issue 🤞🏻 #makeup #kidsmakeup #heavymetals #asbestos #compliance #productsafety #cpsia #regulations
Replying to @grimkraken🐙 independent toy stores in the US are generally safe, but keep an eye out for red flags on the packaging, especially if it’s a discount type store. #toys #productsafety #lead #cadmium #childrensproducts #amazon #cpsia #chokinghazards
Replying to @user8166325222453 great question! Home lead tests are not sensitive enough to tell you if toys are safe and there are numerous other ways unregulated children’s toys could be harmful. You want to look for toys made after 2011 by reputable US companies. If you go walk into a box store, the toys will all comply with US regulations and be safe when used as intended for the age group intended. #toys #productsafety #lead #cadmium #leadpoisoning #childrensproducts #amazon #cpsia #leadtesting #lumetallix
