Getting a blowout just because is exactly what I needed this winter. I always loathe washing my hair and I put it off even more in the winter time because I don’t want to be cold. If you have long, thick hair, you definitely understand. @@The Drybarjust opened in Wheaton and it’s going to be a game changer for me. I want to treat myself to a blowout just because especially when I know I’m going to have a stressful week. To know I can easily go there on my lunch time makes me feel like I live in the city. In order to get a long lasting blowout, you want to make sure that you twist your hair up in a bun on top of your head at night in a soft scrunchie. In the morning, do not brush from your roots down. I would only brush from the middle of my hair down if necessary. If you brush from your roots, you’re only going to bring the oil further down your head and it won’t stay looking fresh. And then when necessary, I will touch up any curls that are not as bouncy. I will also add oil to the bottom of my hair to keep it hydrated.
