This has impacted thousands of jobs, including many local artists who lost all of their inventory, their gallery, and their workspace. To support these impacted businesses Mountain Biz Works  launched the Asheville Buncombe Rebuilding Together Grant which has raised $3.69M for small business recovery (supported by MBW, City of Asheville, Buncombe County, Asheville Chamber of Commerce)  👉74% of the awards went to businesses with 10 or fewer employees 👉65% women owned 👉25% BIPOC owned  👉3,000 jobs supported!
