A few people have asked for a full breakdown of what a day might look for me as someone who is trying to train for performance (10-12hrs a week), support a family (40+ hrs a week), do content and coaching (no idea how many hours tbh), and still make sure I have time for the family. Well here it is! It’s not glamorous, today I barely got to spend time with my wife outside of our attempted conversations while our kids HAD to tell us about the CRAZIEST things that happened at school, etc. The reality of balance is that some days looks like this, non stop work of some sort, and other days I don’t do anything for content and my businesses but spend that time with my wife playing a game, watching a movie, going on a date! Balance is going to look a little different to each person and for me it looks different each day. There are days to grind, days to relax, and days of a little bit of both. So long as the people in my life feel that they are getting what they need from me, well the rest of it takes care of itself! #runnerdad #runlifebalance #dadsthatrun #5ktraining #runningshoereviews #runningcontent #5kworkouts #speedworkout
Im training to run from Los Angeles to New York City in 2025, and it’s the hardest run of my entire life. But i’ve got the mindset and focus to get the job done.
