Come hungry because this AYCE Mexican buffet is no joke! 🌮☕🇲🇽 @5tacosandbeers in Sacramento just leveled up the brunch game with their weekend AYCE buffet. It’s a new spot, but people are already lining up 15-20 minutes before opening—so call ahead or make a reservation! The food was decent. The carnitas, handmade corn tortillas, and mole had us going back for seconds. The mole tasted super authentic, and the salsas and rice were solid too 🇲🇽🍛 But the chilaquiles could’ve used more sauce, and more salsa choices would be nice. For drink, they got 2 options. The cinnamon tea tasted like water and cinnamon but the coffee totally made up for it. Went to Sacramento for a day and here’s some food places I tried!😝 I know there’s the famous spring roll place (I tried that last trip so I wanted to try some new spots) 📍Taste of Original - cozy Cantonese cuisine. Must order their porridge and rice rolls. I also loved their pork liver, but it’s not for everyone. Also saw many tables ordering their fried noodle dish🍚 📍Ca Phe Phin- solid egg coffee, also want to try their sea salt coffee next time!☕️ 📍Lau Oc Viet- so much seafood options here, quality is good but wasn’t a fan of how sweet their sauce is on the seafood. If I were to come back, I’ll ask for a sauce that’s not sweet😅😅 📍Boba Unit- not in Sacramento but a new boba shop that just opened! Love their mango smoothie with coconut milk!
