Hi, I’m here again using a sparkbird song to rant about twst characters because I WANT TO- Anyway, book 2 spoilers for this one folks! Minor holiday reminds me a lot of Leona’s thoughts and feelings towards the inner dorm Spelldrive tournament. Minus the parts of the song explaining the cold weather the song talks about (at least from my perspective) something seen as Important just not feeling like that. Having to adapt to things we don’t want to and forcing ourselves into places because it’s what we should do. “So adaptable we’re so adaptable” is a line in the song which I feel goes along with how his dorm feels about the situation. Their plan doesn’t go through but they are adaptable they can still play and win, right? But Leona doesn’t hold that opinion because at that point he already gave up. “None of this will matter in an hour” as soon as Leona is told that Malleus was unhurt by their plans he gives up why bother dealing with such a minor thing like a school game. “None of this will matter in an hour” this won’t help change his place in his family, it won’t change Ruggie’s financial issues, it won’t change Jack’s nature nothing is gonna change other than them embarrassing themselves on the field. To him “none of this will matter in an hour.” So give up, why try, and when pushed to try by his team “none of this will matter in an hour” he attacks back which is part of why he overblotted. Leona unfortunately from what I’ve seen of twst content online honestly gets slept on for his personal story because the other overblotters have stories which are a tad easier to understand. Because of just how complex and mature Leona’s thought process is he gets overshadowed which sucks and I wanna point it out more. “None of this will matter in an hour” Tbh it’s a relatable way to think. #leonakingscholar #savannahclaw #twst #twistedwonderland #foryoupage
