We’re basically mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest!🤪🍄 The sun might ghost us for half the year, but we’re here for the foggy forest vibes—and with the right tricks, you can feel great too!🤗 ✨Tips for thriving in moody PNW winters: 🥗 Eat for the season: Load up on Vitamin D-rich foods like salmon, mushrooms, and fortified goodies. 🌞 Supplement your sunshine: A daily Vitamin D3 supplement keeps our energy levels steady (ask your doctor what’s best for you!). 🕯️ Embrace the cozy vibes: Candles, hot tea, soups, and books make the darker days feel like a retreat instead of a challenge. 🚶 Get outside anyway: Even if the sun’s not out, fresh air and movement do wonders for the soul (our "hiking gear" is 3 pairs of pants, cheap Amazon “waterproof” pants on top, 3 shirts, a sweatshirt, and a jacket😂). Layers are life! 💡 Light it up: A UVB lamp can help trick your body into feeling like it’s sunny, even when it’s not. How do you embrace the cozy and cloudy days? Tell us your favorite winter rituals!✨️🌬We would love to try them out!😋 🌲Save this post for when you need some cozy foggy forest inspiration, and share it with someone who needs uplifting tips to beat the seasonal blues!❄️💞 #sad #seasonalaffectivedisorder #seasonaldepression #seasonal #seasonaltips #wintertips #winter #winterblues #winterbluesbegone #foggy #foggyforest #forest #foresttherapy #foresttherapyguide #foresttherapywalk #manicmonday #MentalHealth #mentalhealthmonday #mentalhealthmatters #MentalHealthAwareness #mentalhealthadvocate #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthtips #sun #sunstar #sunray #sunbeam #pacificnorthwest #pnw #pnwwonderland

Happy Gregorian New Year! 😉 For us, the real new year begins with spring, not in the heart of winter.🌱 Did you know the Gregorian calendar we use today was introduced in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII to correct inaccuracies in the Julian calendar? Before that, our ancestors lived in closer harmony with nature, marking time by the cycles of the earth—by the sun’s rise and set, by the moon’s phases, and by the seasons that shaped their daily lives. They understood that time was a living, breathing thing, connected to the earth’s rhythms.💫 Spring—the true new year—marks a time when the earth awakens from its winter slumber, and everything around us begins to grow again. The energy shifts, the air feels different, and life stirs once more. This is the time when the new year should be celebrated, when the world around us is in bloom, not when the chill of winter still lingers.🌸 What if we lived more in tune with nature’s cycles? Humans are cyclical beings—our bodies, minds, and spirits are all influenced by the rhythms of nature. To align with the seasons and flow with the changes of the earth can bring a deeper connection and sense of wellbeing.🥰 Imagine celebrating the new year when the earth begins to awaken, instead of adhering to a man-made calendar. How would that change your perspective on time?⏳️ And, ultimately, time is just an illusion anyways—the time is always NOW.😉 Stay perpetually immersed in the present moment.💞 Share with someone who needs a mindfulness reminder!😜 We would love to hear your thoughts!💬 When do you feel like it’s the new year? Would you embrace the earth’s natural rhythms instead of the ticking of the clock?✨️🌘☀️ #mindfulmonday #mindfulmondays #mentalhealthmonday #mentalhealthadvocate #newyear #happynewyear #gregorian #gregoriancalendar #livebythesun #livebythemoon #cyclicalliving #cyclical #seasonal #seasonaltips #seasonalaffectivedisorder #seasonalliving #mindful #mindfulness #mindfullness #MindfulLiving #mindfullivingmatters #mindfulmoments #mindfulmoment #mindfulmeditation #wellbeing #MentalHealth #mentalhealthtips #timeisanillusion #thetimeisnow #wearenature
