I love a good honey baked ham… but no way is it worth the crazy price tag! Let’s face it, we all are looking for ways to save money and make even better food… and this recipe is just for that! Not to mention it’s one of the easiest ways to make a ham out there! Ingredients: • 1 bone in smoked ham, common at most grocery stores this time of year! • juice of 2 navel oranges • 1/4 cup maple syrup • 1/4 cup honey • 1/4 cup brown sugar Instructions: 1. Start by unwrapping your ham, and getting it in the oven or smoker at 325-350F! While that starts to warm up, let’s mix together the glaze. 2. Combine orange juice, maple syrup, honey, and brown sugar in a small bowl and whisk till combined. If using a smoker I recommend setting the bowl on the smoker to heat up with the ham! 3. After the ham has been warmed through and hot, let’s start brushing on the glaze! Usually you can start this process after 90 minutes! Make sure to use a generous amount of the glaze! 4. Continue to brush more glaze on every 15-20 minutes during the remainder of the cook, I usually cook for a total of 3 hours! 5. Once you are happy with the glaze and the ham is looking amazing, you can bring it inside and let cool for 10 mins or so, then slice it up!! It’s really that easy!
