A magical day in #NewOrleans — A generational, once in a lifetime snow event. A day that people will talk about forever. The rarity of this event is hard to fathom — 8-12” of snow across the Metro New Orleans area. The most snow in nearly 130 years, if not longer. The previous record was 8.2” in 1895. You could total up all of the snow received since 1895, and it still wouldn’t total the amount we saw yesterday alone.
