For this drill, you need to pretend your elbow is really heavy, leading the rest of your arm down with the ball. Drive the ball down twice, then on a third, drop the ball straight down. Don't throw the ball down, feel it roll out of your hand. Your hand should be facing behind you, not forward or to the side. Grab a new ball, drive down twice, but this time on the third, snap and release the ball. This focuses on internal rotation mechanics.
