GLOW UP TIP: Find the makeup look that fits your face and master it. Not every makeup artist does makeup that fits your face so find the ones that do or do it yourself. Tips: - determine what your face shape is: my face shape is round/slightly oval with little prominent bone structure so l use make up techniques that give me higher looking cheekbones and lift my face up. - figure out your undertone: this will help greatly with getting the perfect color matches for your make up products. Often times us black women tend to believe we are all warm or yellow undertone, which has a lot of us walking around looking orange or very yellow. I for example, figured out that I was a cool/neutral undertone last year and my world changed. - figure out your contrast level: this is a fairly new trend, but something I have practice for a long time unknowingly. Because my hair and eyes are very dark, and my skin is medium toned, I have to add things like dark eyelashes, and non-nude lip colors so I don’t look completely washed out. these are just a few tips that I have and there are much more where this came from. Make sure to follow me here on YouTube and TikTok for more content on applicable glow up tips like this this year because I make sure to try it before I recommend it.
