Since power snatching 155 lbs at my last competition, I have been very inconsistent with hitting squat snatches and struggled with instability in the catch but mostly with putting a lot of pressure and expectations on myself. A month ago, I couldn’t hit a single rep at 135 and had a little meltdown at the gym. After that, we took a few steps back and focused on positions and technique at lighter weights. Today was the first day, I touched 135 lbs again and I didn’t miss a single rep!✨ Sometimes, we need to let go of the expectation and take a few steps back to make progress in the long run!✨ Really LOVING training these days and learning to trust the process more patiently🎀
