If you felt fatigued, on overdrive, inability to focus or relax this might be a sign that you need to revamp your morning routine to set yourself up for a nervous system supportive day. Through my own healing journey, I discovered that the way you start your day is one of the most powerful tools for resetting your nervous system, balancing hormones, and improving your overall health. Here are a few things that worked for me: Getting 7-8 hours of sleep: Then setting an alarm that isn’t blaring or overly jarring to wake up to. Getting direct sunlight in the morning: This helped regulate my circadian rhythm, boost energy, and balance cortisol. Turning off notifications: Keeping my phone on Do Not Disturb until mid-morning reduced unnecessary stress and distractions. Using a red light filter on my phone: This minimized blue light exposure, especially at night. Meditating for just 10 minutes: It allowed me to create a sense of calm and safety in my body before starting the day. Avoiding my phone first thing in the morning: This created space for mindfulness and intention instead of being reactive. Eating a high-protein breakfast: starting my morning with around 30 g of protein in my breakfast. When I prioritized these habits, everything shifted. My energy improved, my digestion healed, my skin started to clear, and I finally started feeling like myself again. If you’re feeling stuck in a constant state of stress or struggling with your health, start by looking at your mornings. A few small changes can completely transform how you feel. Remember, you don’t have to choose everything all at once just start with one habit and once you have it down, you can slowly stack other ones as you go.
