Kids healthy and nutritious packed lunch all thanks to @Wild Planet Foods . Wild Planet sardines are sourced in the North Pacific, and are bigger, meatier, scale-free, and have a mild flavor & a firm texture. Which makes it perfect for pastas! Fun fact: Sardines are considered nutritional powerhouses. With high levels of EPA and DHA Omega-3s, and essential nutrients such as protein, calcium, iron, potassium and vitamin D, ounce for ounce, sardines are one of the most nutrient dense bites you can take. Perfect for growing kids and adults to add to their daily diet. Sardine Pasta 2 teaspoons olive oil 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 cup cherry tomatoes 1/2 can Wild Planet Wild Sardines in olive oil with lemon, finely chopped Salt and pepper 1/2 box spaghetti cooked 1/3 cup Pasta water to make a sauce Serving 1 lemon, zested 1/2 teaspoons chilli flakes optional Fresh basil or parsley In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil and cherry tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes then add in your minced garlic. When the tomatoes have burst slightly and released their juices, you'll add in finely chopped Wild Planet sardines. Mix until everything is combined. Add in your salt and pepper to taste. Cook your spaghetti pasta. Make sure to reserve a cup of the pasta water when draining it. Once the sardines have been fully submerged in the garlic olive oil sauce, add in your drained pasta. Then add a tablespoon of pasta water at a time. You'll notice the sauce becomes creamy and luscious. At this time you can add in parsley or fresh basil, chili flakes, and some lemon zest. Serve and enjoy! #wildplanetfoods, #wildplanetrecipe, #sustainableseafood
