We’ve been curious about Sitar in New Haven for years, so when we heard that they had remodeled and added a bunch of new menu items, we decided it was time to finally stop by! Indian food is one of Colten’s favorite cuisines, and it fit perfectly into our winter comfort food series 🥰 Since we were in the adventurous spirit, we tried two dishes we’ve never had before - malai chicken kebab and goat curry! We weren’t sure how we were going to feel about goat, but it was so good, and the way it was cooked reminded us of short rib! Sitar’s many is very diverse, with an emphasis on northern Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a perfect balance of maintaining tradition while also embracing a modern flair. Choose a cocktail to pair with your meal, or if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic drink, a mango lassi is always refreshing choice.
