Omg is she really returning to the tiktok??? 🤪✨🤪 Of course no tea no shade, I know plenty of tattoo artists are upping their prices and it is totally fair. The rising costs for living are extreme, plus many people feel as they grow as an artist their prices should too. And usually, I agree. Personally, I don’t feel the need to up my prices at this time. The biggest reason for me is simply this: I know my clientele. I am friends with you, I chat with you, and I understand: Tattoos are for the working class. We all want to look cool. We all want stress relief, and for many, that is getting a tattoo. Tattoos are already expensive as it is (and understandably so, which we can discuss another time), and I know many people save for months at a time to get that $500 piece. Accessibility is important to me. I don’t need to cater towards the 1% who only owns designer clothes and mansions— I want to tattoo my friends. This year for me is all about upping my skill set as a tattooer and an artist. More flash, more design time, more creativity, more learning, more professionalism. Plus some super secret projects I can’t share yet 🫢 but if you remember last year around this time I attempted it and failed miserably haha.
