I haven’t been as active here as I would have liked this year, but sometimes life hands you grapefruits instead of lemons! That being said, I’m so excited that you’re all still here and I want to give you a little gift! I recently had to make a new batch of laundry detergent and thought it was the perfect opportunity to show you how to save more of your hard-earned money by making this homemade, all-natural, chemical-free, and eco-friendly detergent. Here’s to me being more active and you keeping more of your green in 2025! 🤑 Homemade Laundry Detergent Recipe You’ll need: •	1 bar of Fels-Naptha soap •	1 cup of super washing soda •	1 cup of borax •	1 cup of baking soda •	Approximately 4 gallons of water •	1 5-gallon bucket with lid •	Essential oils or fragrance oils of your choice (optional) Instructions: • Grate or chop the bar of Fels-Naptha soap and add it to a large, deep pot or stockpot. • Melt the soap over medium heat, stirring occasionally. This may take some time, so be patient. • Once the soap is melted, add 1 cup of super washing soda to the pot. Mix well until fully dissolved. • Add 8 cups of hot water to the pot and stir thoroughly. • Gradually add the borax and baking soda, one cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Continue stirring until the mixture is well incorporated, and there’s no gritty texture at the bottom of the pot. • Pour the mixture into the 5-gallon bucket. Fill the pot with water and add it to the bucket, repeating as needed until you have about 4 gallons of liquid in total. Stir the mixture well. • Let the detergent sit overnight to thicken. The next day, transfer it to your preferred containers. • Add your essential oils directly to the containers (not the bucket) to customize and switch up the scents as desired. ✨Optional Dilution✨ If you find the detergent is too thick, dilute it further by adding 1 cup of water for every 3 cups of detergent (this is my personal preference). 👉Yes, I do use this in my HE washer, but as with any DIY solution, please do so at your own discretion.👈 This recipe makes a large batch of eco-friendly detergent that’s easy on your wallet and your washing machine! #diylaundrydetergent #allnatural #chemicalfree #thathippiewitch #fyp

11,000 followers. Some might think that’s small, but to me, it’s everything. That’s 11,000 people who liked what I had to share, who encouraged me to keep learning, creating, and growing. You made every minute spent filming, editing, and uploading worth it. TikTok wasn’t just an app—it was a classroom, a stage, and a community all in one. It’s where I learned to garden, make bread, watched a ton of cat videos, and so much more. And I will never admit to how many hours I spent doom scrolling or how many rabbit holes I fell down. 😅 Most importantly, it was here that you encouraged me to take a leap and sell my herb labels, which ultimately launched my small business and turned That Hippie Witch into a brand. My brand. 🖤 So thank you—thank you to every single person who hit any of those buttons, bot or not. Thank you to the creators who made us laugh, cry, and try new things. And thank you, TikTok, for being a space where we all felt seen and connected. If you want to continue following my journey, check the 🔗 on my profile for the places you can find me. With so much love and gratitude, Michelle ~That Hippie Witch 💫 #goodbyetiktok #illmissyou #thankyou #thathippiewitch #madewithloveandgoodintentions #imnotcryingyourecrying
