On TikTok, there’s a recurring narrative about how Instagram can feel like the worst app because people often only share their highlights. It creates the impression that if you’re not looking perfect, traveling constantly, or flaunting designer wear, your content won’t get much engagement. And if it does, the feedback might be harsh—people might say your new car isn’t the latest model or your new house isn’t big enough. This isn’t just true for Instagram; it can happen anywhere online. Here’s my mindset: not everyone is for me, and that’s okay. I enjoy using filters and editing my photos, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love myself. I’m not afraid to post a bare-faced photo or share vulnerable moments that might help someone else. I believe that by being relatable, transparent, authentic, and spreading love and joy, I can connect with my assigned village. I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but that won’t stop me from posting, and it shouldn’t stop you either. Do what feels right for you. Stay true to yourself and don’t let people you may never meet discourage you or block your blessings. Truth is, God gets all the glory from my life, and these platforms have been a blessing to my influence, impact, income, and network. Now, I want to encourage you to share your story. Post your highlights, your struggles, and everything in between. Navigate these spaces with authenticity and confidence. And speaking of exciting things, big news is coming with something I have been working on for MONTHS ! Click the link in bio to learn more and stay tuned for how it can be a game-changer for you.
