Everything you need to know before going to Tokyo Disney Resort 🏰🇯🇵 1. Two Parks: Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea - very easy to transfer between the two via the Disney tram (10 minutes) 🚋  2. Ticket Types: They only sell individual park tickets (unless you’re on a vacation package) so don’t expect a park hopper ticket if you’re trying to go both parks in one day 🎟️  3. How to do both parks in one day: Buy regular tickets for one park, and then the weeknight one for the other (a lot cheaper this way) 💴  4. Expect large crowds: Disneyland is just crowded in general, but tourism to Japan is crazy these days, so anticipate long lines for rides and food ⏱️ 5. Download the official app: This is useful not only for looking up wait times, but also for buying DPAs, booking Priority and Standby Passes, and mobile ordering food 🍱  6. Getting into Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea: You need either a DPA or a Standby Pass for one of the rides in Fantasy Springs. Check out my other video for more details❗️ *As of recent, you no longer need a pass to enter Fantasy Springs! BUT you still need a pass to ride anything there, so probably get there early still anyway 😅 7. Language Accessibility: All rides will ONLY be in Japanese, but the app, signs in the park, and menus will have both Japanese and English. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay in central Tokyo, Japan that has a Ryokan style to it then consider a stay at this charming hotel! 😍🇯🇵🛌 This ryokan-style hotel is located in the district of Asakusa which literally walking distance to the Asakusa train station and Sensoji-Temple. A ryokan is a traditional Japanese style inn. The hotel also has natural hot springs which are called onsen in Japan. The hallways & rooms are lined with tatami mats. You must remove your shoes before you enter and store them away in a locker of your choosing. Don’t forget to take your key with you cause you’ll need them to get your shoes back. The rooms are clean & small which is standard for Tokyo lodging but it has all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. The room is equipped with a futon bed, tv, views of Asakusa and the Tokyo Skytree, complimentary water & snacks, a yukata (Japanese bathrobe), grooming kits which include a toothbrush, razor blade, shower cap, and more. As well as an electric kettle to make some tea or coffee. The bathroom has a toto toilet which separated by a mini shower which includes body wash, shampoo, & conditioner. The hotel offers buffet breakfast for a daily rate of 2,800 JPY for adults and 1,400 JPY for kids. Both Western & Japanese style breakfast is available. Breakfast is served 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. The dining room has plenty of seating and large windows with natural light coming in. You’ll find plenty of breakfast options such as pastries, soft boiled eggs, salmon, daifuku, cereal, a fruit & salad bar, as well as coffee, green tea, & soda machine. The natural hot springs & sauna are on the lower floor which are gender segregated filming of the hot springs area wasn’t allowed due to no clothes being allowed. What we did 👇 • Had a GIANT bowl of ramen & gyoza at Hustle Ramen, a local spot in the neighborhood we're staying in! 🍜 • Breakfast at our hotel, complete with Japanese Omelettes (YUM!) 🍳 • Took a 45 minute walk from our hotel through a few neighborhoods to visit Senso-ji & the Kaminari-mon Gate (with beautiful views of the Tokyo SkyTree & more!) ⛩️ • Took the subway over to Akihabara, a neighborhood known for video games, electronics, & anime culture ⚡️ • Walked all around the city exploring many buildings & tons of multi-level arcades! 👾 • Visited one (of many!) golf ranges - we went to Active Akiba Golf Club on the top floor of a building so my brother could hit golf balls for 30 minutes! This was a fun stop! 🏌️ • Grabbed lunch in the same building at Wanzhuji Yodobashi - 10/10 on their spicy boiled dumplings 🤤 • Back to the hotel for a load off of our feet - we'd been walking around from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm when we decided to go back! Plus, I wasn't feeling so well so I took a little nap! 🤒 • Walked over to dinner at Masazushi, where I was the only non-local. They all were asking me where I was from & how I found this sushi spot - it's a hidden gem but thank you Google because the sushi was insane!! 🍣 • & Back to the hotel to get a good night's rest & catch up on the rest of this jet lag before an early morning call for a FUN day tomorrow! 😴 Let me know if you have any Tokyo recs for us to try! 👇🫶 #tokyo #japantiktok #japantravel #tokyojapan

Is Shibuya Sky worth all the hype? 🌌 Yes! It totally is! Out of the three observation decks we went to in Tokyo, this one was by far our favorite! 🙌🏽 Snagging tickets, especially for sunset hour, is really hard though, as well as avoiding crowds. If you’re okay to skip out on sunset plus don’t want to be around so many people, then the latest or earliest entry time might be your best bet! 🌃 We bought our tickets via Klook, which was really easy to use.
