(Watch full video for surprise ending!) 🎬 We will never know all that happened in her past...how her lip and nose got damaged, how long her mouth was full of inflammation and missing teeth... But, we do know that her future will be the most amazing one ever! Dyna has only the best in store from here on out! Dyna showed up on someone's porch over Memorial Day weekend. She was thin, drooling, and had muscle waste in her back legs. Her mouth was very inflamed and she was missing many teeth. She was taken to the shelter, and we rescued her a short time later. Our vet originally diagnosed her with rodent ulcers, and she was placed on medicine to reduce the inflammation in her mouth. Due to her stress in foster care with several other cats, we asked for a foster to keep Dyna for a few weeks while she stayed on her meds. Natalie, an amazing 13 year old gal, messaged us and was willing to care for her until school started back up! Dyna also developed conjunctivitis, and our eye surgeon recommended we see a mouth specialist. That's when we learned Dyna had stomatitis, and would need all of her teeth removed. Natalie and her family cared for Dyna for weeks, but once she needed surgery, it turned into months. They made Dyna feel right at home from the very first day they had her. And, they continued to care for her after her surgery (Dyna was in very rough shape the first week and needed lots of extra care!) Natalie's mom Maria got Dyna to all her after surgery visits and made sure she was healing properly. Within a few more months, Dyna was healed and cleared for adoption. But, where would her forever home end up being?
