DOUBLE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BREAD 😍🍌🍫 Whenever we are traveling I love making a healthy snack to take with us! This past week we traveled back home for Christmas and I had a bunch of ripe bananas I wanted to use up before we left, so I made this double chocolate peanut butter banana bread, and WOW it is soooo good!!! I added @Promix Nutrition protein powder to this recipe to make it higher in protein and more satiating - it’s my favorite protein powder because it’s made with clean ingredients! You can use the discount code ✨CLAIRE✨ for 10% off Promix! Makes 12 servings: ~200 calories, 12g protein, 6g fat, 28g carbs each Ingredients: - 1 + 3/4 cups oats (use gf if needed) - 3 servings vegan or whey vanilla protein powder (I use @promix protein powder - use code ‘CLAIRE’ for 10% off!) - 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp baking powder - 1/2 tsp salt - 3 very ripe bananas - 2 eggs - 1/4 cup maple syrup (sub for agave, honey) - 1/3 cup almond milk (sub for any milk) - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 1/4 cup natural peanut butter for swirling on top - 1/4 cup chocolate chips (I use enjoy life mini choc chips) How to: - Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper. - Add the oats to your blender and blend into oat flour. - Add the oat flour, vanilla protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt to a large bowl and stir to combine. - In a second bowl add ripe bananas and mash well. Add eggs, maple syrup, milk and vanilla extract then whisk until well combined. - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir to combine. - Spread batter into the baking dish and swirl peanut butter on top. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top. - Bake for 25-30 mins until a toothpick comes out clean (25 mins was perfect for me)! - Let cool then slice into 12 bars and enjoy! #healthyrecipe #EasyRecipe #bananabread #bananabreadbars #highprotein #cleaneating #healthyeating #mealprep #mealprepbreakfast #healthydessert #glutenfreedessert #travelbreakfast
